How to Use Your Voice in Turbulent Times

We are living in profoundly challenging times. Across the U.S. — and around the world — many of us are watching with heartbreak, frustration, and even rage as the values we care most deeply about feel under siege.

In moments like these, silence can feel both easier and more dangerous.

But your voice matters.

As a leadership and communication coach, I’ve spent years helping people find the courage to speak with clarity, compassion, and conviction — not just in boardrooms, but in life.

Protest is not always about holding a sign.
It can be:

  • A conversation with a friend or family member who holds a different view.

  • A post that shares your truth and invites others to think.

  • A question you ask in a meeting that challenges the status quo.

  • A story you tell that humanizes what others try to dehumanize.

In turbulent times, effective protest requires presence. It requires emotional intelligence. It requires the willingness to connect — even when it’s hard.

This is the work I do with my clients every day: helping people speak from their values with power and grace, so they can create real change — inside and outside of organizations.

If you’re feeling called to find or strengthen your voice right now, I invite you to connect with me.
